The Calm Before the Other Thing that Isn’t the Calm

Hey again. GM here. The agonizing wait for the very first of our Dingus Rancher Adventures is almost over. That is if you count three weeks as agonizing, which isn’t the case if you’re, say, a rock. Time moves like a mile a minute for those things. They’ve got the right idea, lemme tell ya.

Okay, that’s enough rock envy for now. I’ve got some good news and some bad news for you. The good news is that the big story’s looking great in non-thumbnail form. The bad news? While we definitely have enough to get going by June 30th (heck, we’ve buffered a bit already!), we don’t have much of a safety net in case of emergencies in the middle of the story. (Illness, arm trouble, triscuits shortage, etc.). So, in order to guarantee the story proceeds twice weekly uninterrupted, we’re pushing the story back another two weeks. I deeply apologize to everyone who’s been looking forward to DRA starting this Sunday, but this delay will help ensure that you get a good year and a half of twice-weekly comics without any interruptions. Of course, fate is a fickle sausage, and we can’t exactly proceed if me or Yam suddenly turns into a rock for a few weeks, but barring anything bizarre like that we should get on just fine.

Thanks again for your patience. Going forward, I’ll be sure to double-up on the extra stuff to make sure a thing-less period like this, however brief, never happens again.
